Berber Village Atlas Excursion by 4x4

Set off on an unforgettable day through the Atlas Mountains, where you'll discover spectacular scenery, traditional Berber villages and authentic culture. Travelling by 4x4 or minibus, you'll explore the picturesque valleys of Ourika, Oukaimeden and Asni, taking in impressive waterfalls and breathtaking panoramas.

The excursion begins with departure from Marrakech, around an hour's drive to the Ourika Valley, famous for its waterfalls. You'll be able to take a short guided walk to reach the falls. Along the way, you'll come across Berber women preparing argan oil, a local speciality.

You'll then head towards the Oukaimeden Valley, at 1,800 metres above sea level, passing through typical Berber villages. You can experience local life by sharing a traditional lunch in a Berber home (optional).

Your journey continues to the Asni Valley, known for its fruit orchards and magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas. You'll also explore the Kik Plateau, before reaching Lake Takerkoust, a peaceful, picturesque spot where you can enjoy the beauty of this man-made reservoir.

The excursion ends with a return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
