Palais Dar Soukkar — ‘the sugar palace’ in Arabic — is a legendary venue steeped in history. It was built in the 16th century on the site of a former sugar refinery, remnants of which can still be seen today. In 2004, the palace was renovated to host prestigious private events such as the Marrakech International Film Festival, Marrakech du Rire and Dior evenings, before finally opening its doors to the public in 2016 with an unmissable dinner show. Located just 10 minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Palace is a landmark of the Ochre City. The venue is divided into two spaces: the indoor area comprises a dining room, a lounge area and a covered terrace, while the outdoor area features a landscaped terrace of 1,200 m². Our capacity is 1,800 guests for a seated dinner and 2,500 for standing dinner cocktails, including the terrace. It is an award-winning venue among event planners for organising conferences, galas and ceremonies for businesses and private individuals alike. Our planning team will work to define your turnkey requirements or collaborate closely with your own organisation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - Payment is made on site. - À la carte dining is not available. - A set menu is required, from 500 DH. - Children under 12 pay à la carte. - For groups of more than 10 people, a deposit must be paid directly to Dar Soukkar before 4pm on the day of the booking.
